The Personal Moral Inventory™ is inspired by the work on Quadruple Bottom line from the world of finance, and an exercise that military personnel go through to pick their teams before battle, based not just on capability, but morals and values.

Dom believes these four things all contribute to our happiness.

Productivity & Profit

Productivity and Profit is all about work, and financial independence.

People

People is about firstly looking after your own mental and physical health. Then it’s about the relationships you want to have with friends, family, society and the community.

Planet

Planet is about how you use the planets precious resources. Your carbon footprint. Reduce/reuse/recycle.

Purpose

Purpose is all about the impact and legacy you want to leave behind. The “why” of who we are and what we do.

You can’t score a 2… there is no amount of wealth makes you happier.

Once you’ve scored yourself do NOT add them up or net them off.

Being rich doesn’t make up for killing the planet. Instead, take the areas where you score a -1 or 0, and pick an action you can take in the next year, to improve that. Then reassess.
